Juno

WHAT: Everyday Restaurant

Juno rhymes with comfort - the place makes you feel at home. The menu covers all general categories from healthy salads to grilled fish, from schnitzels and steak to pizza and pasta varieties. Everything is prepared with care and the dishes are generally classic but with a modern touch. I'm a particular fan of the "Lahmacun pizza" (our beloved lahmacun but with a thin pizza crust instead... essentially a cheese-less pizza!).

The drinks/cocktails are also well made (and this is a rare find in Istanbul for some reason), and the prices reasonable which is always nice!

The staff is friendly and you will also almost always find there at least one of the two co-owners who are more than willing to help out with any queries you might have on the menu, the venue and pretty much on anything else!

(*Recommended: The bon-filet and schnitzel (beef/chicken)

OCCASION: Any time of day and for any occasion from coffee/drinks with friends to group dinners or a casual date night.

ENVIRONMENT: A cozy interior that's not too big and has windows running almost all around. It has a lovely and secluded back garden and seating area which, although situated in the centre of the Nişantaşı neighbourhood is refreshingly set apart from the bustling of the streets.

AMBIANCE: Warm, laid back and easy going. A place to enjoy the company you are with; so not necessarily the place you would go to see and be seen.

STYLE: As you feel comfortable.

LOCATION: Nişantaşı, Istanbul
